Licensed doctor of audiology Leah Mitchell has been working as a Audiologist in Colorado since 2004. She loves helping people hear better. Here credentials include:

Prior to joining the Sound Relief Hearing Center, Dr. Mitchelle worked at an ENT office, private practice, and at the Department of Veterans Affairs. She enjoys seeing how her patients’ relationships and quality of life can be improved through better hearing and management of tinnitus.
Kelsey Harris,
AuD, CCC-A, CH-TM
Audiologist
Dr. Kelsey Harris began her journey at Sound Relief as a Patient Care Coordinator, holding a bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. Her passion for hearing health, particularly tinnitus management, inspired her to transition to the role of audiology assistant while simultaneously earning her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado. With academic training and practical, hands-on experience, Dr. Harris can provide expert care in diagnostics and treatment. She values the collaborative, patient-centered environment at Sound Relief and enjoys working alongside a dedicated team of professionals.
Originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Harris grew up in a close-knit family of 10 siblings, where she quickly learned the importance of effective communication. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family and their two Great Danes, Roux and Brie. Dr. Harris is an avid outdoors lover who enjoys paddleboarding, hiking, and camping. Her strong family values and love for nature shape her personal life and compassionate approach to patient care.
Julie Prutsman,

As the owner and founder of Sound Relief Hearing Center, Dr. Julie Prutsman has dedicated her practice to treating tinnitus, decreased sound tolerance, and related hearing health issues.
She is a third-generation audiology professional with her grandfather entering into the field of hearing healthcare in the 1950s. After working in her family’s practice in Colorado and Las Vegas, NV, she decided to open one of her own focused on tinnitus. Since beginning Sound Relief Hearing Center in December 2011, her practice has helped thousands of patients and grown to nine offices in Colorado and Arizona.
Dr. Julie Prutsman grew up in Highlands Ranch and graduated from Highlands Ranch High School. She attended the University of Colorado – Boulder for graduate school and knew Colorado would always be her home state. Her husband, Patrick, is the General Manager and co-owner of Sound Relief. They have two wonderful children, Ethan and Hanna, and their rescue dog, Tori. In her free time, Dr. Julie loves reading, traveling, skiing, and spending time with family.
Justina Muniz
Audiology Assistant
Justina, a Colorado native, joined our team as the Patient Care Coordinator of our Westminster office in April 2019 and is now an Audiology Assistant. Justina finds true joy in helping others and is passionate about caring for our patients. She has worked in medical care for over 6 years and continues to find enjoyment and growth in her job.
In her free time, Justina enjoys many things including hiking, traveling, being active, and going to the gym, but mostly she enjoys spending time with her French Bulldog, Roskoe. She loves the outdoors and considers there is no lack of adventures for her and her pup in Colorado.

Administration at front desk were both very helpful and easy to complete scheduling, ID, insurance etc. Dr. Harris is a very kind and caring audiologist with whom I have had the pleasure of having helped me in my journey towards auditory well-being. She took ample time to understand my hearing issues and was highly patient and helpful with wax removal from my ears. Dr. Harris also provided me with excellent education regarding tinnitus, wax, hearing protection options, handouts for safe hearing duration & Db/sound volume, A&P of the outer/middle & inner ear. I am looking forward to having Westminster Sound Relief Tinnitus & Hearing Center service all my hearing needs forever. Highly recommend using them as they are not skimpy with taking plenty of time in a customer/patient oriented approach which is refreshing in any domain that is healthcare related. It turns out that my problem was completely removed with that uncomplicated method. My ear tests were good. Sound Relief Tinnitus & Hearing Center is your locally-owned and trust resources for hearing help. We offer specialized audiology services, including tinnitus treatment, extensive diagnostic hearing testing, and solutions for decreased sound tolerance.
- Hearing & speech comprehensive testing/evaluation - a series of tests and inspections to assess the overall hearing health of a patient. If you want the best hearing test, you've come to the right place.
- Tinnitus assessment - tinnitus is common and often described as a "ringing, rushing or buzzing sound in the ears". The tinnitus assessment at Sound Relief combines tinnitus-specific tests, a comprehensive audiological evaluation, and tympanometry.
- Hyperacusis assessment - a hearing disorder for patients with a decreased tolerance for everyday noise/sounds at such high levels that it causes irritation, anxiety, or even physical pain.
- Hearing aid evaluation - based on your test results, needs, lifestyle and budget together we will determine which hearing device will best suite you.
- Hearing aid sales - rechargeable, background noise cancellation and Bluetooth streaming capability
- Custom made and fitted hearing aids - using an earmold impression of the patient's ear.
- Programming of hearing aids with your full prescription
- Real Ear Measurements (REM) - REMs are the gold standard in audiology for verification that the hearing aids are working as they should and providing the intended benefits inside the patient’s ear canal at the eardrum.
- Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emissions - This test measure frequencies in each ear and the audiologist interprets the results found.
- Removal and management of non-Impacted and impacted Cerumen (earwax).
