I have been a customer for both hearing aids and glasses for over 10 years. Harold runs his business in the way that we wish all Hearing Aid specialists would with personal service. Any minor adjustment or questions I have are answered on the spot and I leave being able to hear better. I highly recommend his service. ”

“This is the absolute worst place to buy your hearing aids from. The owner/operator is unprofessional. My dad who is 93 years old, bought a pair of hearing aids from Beaver about a year ago or so. He also has a warranty on these hearing aids from this store. Over the past 6 months or so he has been having issues with these hearing aids and I was taking him back to Beaver to resolve the problem weekly with no resolution He informed my dad that he needed to send them back to the company to be fixed. In the interim my dad was without one or both of his hearing aids, and he would become very frustrated because he could not hear. My family and I were getting also very frustrated because we could not communicate with my dad because his hearing was so poor. The last time I was in the store. I questioned the owner/operator why I needed to bring my dad in on a weekly basis to have his hearing aids fixed. The owner got very hostile with me because I questioned why these hearing aids were not up to par. I asked him if it was just wax if I could clean them out and he informed me that I could not that he is the only one that could do that and I could damage them. I also asked him if everybody with hearing aids needed to bring them back to get them cleaned out every week like I have been doing. At this point he got very angry and started yelling. I told him I had every right to know what was going on with these hearing aids We had some words and he informed me to leave the store and never come back. He would not answer any questions and while I was leaving, he informed me that if I ever came back in the store that he would step on my dad‘s hearing aids. He has done nothing but cause aggravation for me and my family because my dad should not have of had to go through this for months with not being able to hear. I in turn then went to a licensed Audiologist who did the required testing for my fathers hearing aids. After the testing the audiologist called the company and they said they never received back the hearing aids since a year ago, Beaver was supposed to have sent these hearing aids back quite a few times, but never did. When the Audiologist send them back to the company, the receivers were not working , plus, there there were missing pieces to the hearing aid. The owner of beaver was not looking out for my dad. He was hoping that he would be disgusted enough by not hearing and would probably purchase a new pair. After taking my father back weekly, there still was no resolution The audiologist informed me after she received them back from the company that the receivers were dead and needed to be replaced, in addition to that, other pieces needed to be replaced. I picked up my dad’s hearing aids today and it is the first time in months that he can hear. I am so glad I went with my gut feeling, took my father somewhere else and within two weeks he is able to hear again with the existing hearing aids. ”
