“Very professional ”
“I went in today for a cleaning and help with feedback from my hearing aids and pairing with my new phone. I was told I had earwax and would have to make a different appointment and pay several hundred dollars to have the doctor clean out the ear wax. Mind you it is a 2 hour drive for me to get to the clinic . They were also unable to help me pair the devices with my phone. Corporate medicine at its finest. I won't be going back to these people.”
Received 10/22/2025Official Response from Sound Relief Tinnitus & Hearing Center - Golden:“We’re truly sorry that your recent experience didn’t reflect the level of care we strive to provide. We understand that making a long drive for an appointment, only to feel rushed and leave without resolution, is incredibly frustrating. After speaking with you directly, Dr. Julie offered to personally remove the earwax and help resolve the app issue at no charge. While we understand that the distance makes returning difficult, that offer still stands should you wish to reach out in the future. We also want to clarify that earwax removal is performed by a doctor for safety reasons and typically costs between $50 and $100 per ear, depending on time and complexity — not $300 as was mentioned in your review. We value your feedback and take it seriously. Your experience has helped us identify areas for improvement in scheduling and pre-appointment communication, and we’ll be implementing changes to help prevent situations like this going forward. We wish you the best with your hearing care and truly appreciate the opportunity to learn from your experience.”
