After speaking with you directly, Dr. Julie offered to personally remove the earwax and help resolve the app issue at no charge. While we understand that the distance makes returning difficult, that offer still stands should you wish to reach out in the future. We also want to clarify that earwax removal is performed by a doctor for safety reasons and typically costs between $50 and $100 per ear, depending on time and complexity — not $300 as was mentioned in your review. It's a positive aspect that the external microphones remain active when streaming a call, allowing you to stay aware of your surroundings. You mentioned that the sound quality of the hearing aids is not particularly suited for music, but that's understandable as they are primarily designed for speech amplification. For music enjoyment, you recommend using dedicated headphones like AirPods Pro or bone-conduction headphones. The absence of tubes to get clogged and replaced is another advantage you appreciate in the Oticon miniRITE R. The simplicity of a wire with a speaker makes maintenance easier.
