“Dr Fetscher was very nice, explained everything, answered all our questions, and overall did a great job evaluating my disabled sister's hearing loss and her current needs. We came here for a second opinion because a new technician (not an audiologist!) at a facility we'd been using gave us questionable information and seemed much more interested in selling us a new $5000 hearing aid to earn a commission rather than actually serving my sister's best interests. There was a big difference between the test results, according to that other facility technician my sister's hearing had drastically changed and was at a point where if she didn't buy a new hearing aid immediately she would go deaf. The hearing test graph chart that Dr Fetscher did today with the aid of the computer closely resembled all of my sister's previous test results from the past 4 years, as opposed to the other technician's made by hand graph which indicated my sister had lost her hearing suddenly. That graph was just a straight line all the way across the chart. Dr Fetscher also compared my sister's level of hearing loss to the prescription on her current hearing aid and concluded the existing hearing aid is set up properly for my sister's level of hearing loss. The current hearing aid cost me $5000 three years ago and the entire unit was just replaced under warranty in October because the built in battery was failing. Furthermore, Dr Fetscher told us that although my sister's hearing loss is moderate to severe, it is still very much manageable with a hearing aid and clarity of voices is fine. Bottom line is Hearing Associates are honest professionals who won't tell you some BS just to sell you something and make a profit. We will be using Hearing Associates from now on.”

When the newest technology became available in the CIC style, I was interested as I have used nothing else for the last 20 years. Without a doubt, these CIC aids have been the absolute best. The fit is extraordinary with zero leakage and no “whistling“or feedback. The feedback suppression works very well and even when using headphones. Noise suppression is excellent when in noisy environments like at restaurants. Sounds that I have not been hearing are now clearly audible. Music sounds very good and I hear in a wider frequency range. As s singer, it has been a totally new experience. I hear myself better, which helps me maintain proper pitch. Use on the telephone (which is a very important to my work) is excellent. I really like the fact there are no program buttons to push, they totally automatic. Hearing Associates have continued to fit me with only the best and with a warranty and customer service bar none. Love the battery program and the assistance the staff provide me, especially during the visits not requiring a doctor. You are the best, thank you for all that you do. Carl”
