She ran me through a variety of tests and determined that my hearing had declined a little but my hearing aids were under fitted for me. Dr. Chippendale made the necessary adjustments to my hearing aids to correct deficiencies per her tests. She also treated my hearing aids by using a ReDux machine to remove harmful moisture. I can’t believe the difference in the quality of my hearing!! Her office is extremely professional and efficient. Some of the tests she performed I had never had up in Boston (at a major hospital). If you are having hearing issues please go see her. I trust her with my ears!”

“Dr. Maura Chippendale has given me back my hearing. I am in the VA system and had hearing aids before that didn't work properly and were uncomfortable, evidently not fitted properly by the VA. When I tried to make an appointment with the VA to find out what was going on, they could not get me in within the 30-day period required by the new Congressional "Mission Act," that requires the VA to allow me to go to a private audiologist that they would set up and cover the expenses. Turns out that was the best thing that could have happened to me, as I was referred to Chippendale Audiology and Dr. Maura Chippendale. She thoroughly explained everything about hearing loss, got me the proper hearing aids and then professionally calibrated them properly and fit them to my ears. I didn't know how bad my hearing was until I got the proper hearing aids, with proper calibration and fitting from Dr. Chippendale. “I was referred to Chippendale by my primary care physician (PCP) for a hearing exam. Becky, the office administrator was very helpful getting me scheduled and answering all of my questions about Medicare and insurance so I was impressed before I even arrived. Dr. Chippendale was first class in all that she did. She explained clearly the instructions and what would happen for each test. When we completed the tests, we went to her desk where she proceeded to spend about 30 minutes first helping me understand how the auditory system works in a coherent manner through the use of a huge chart of the brain and auditory system. That helped me understand the results of each of my tests as she presented them. She shared some of the science regarding higher rates of cognitive decline with untreated hearing loss which is a concern for me. Finally, she shared with me a packet of general information which was very helpful. By the end of the day, she had prepared and emailed to my PCP and neurologist, with a copy to me, an amazing full page written report regarding the tests administered and the results, a page with the the diagrams of the hearing assessment, and a third page with summary and recommendations. This was in contrast to my first hearing exam one year ago in Virginia where I left the office with a faded one page "report" consisting of 3 sentences, and diagrams of the test results indicating I had a high frequency hearing loss. I was very pleased with my experience at Chippendale.”
