They make referrals to physicians when hearing or balance problems require medical or surgical evaluation or treatment. By combining a patient’s complete history with a variety of specialized auditory and vestibular (balance) assessments, they can determine appropriate treatment of patients’ hearing and balance problems. Treatment may range from a variety of hearing aids to implants. To help you decide, we'll discuss with you your lifestyle and level of activity, physical characteristics, medical conditions, cosmetic and style preferences and budget.
