Susan McMahon, BC-HIS is a Connecticut State Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. She has been practicing since 1982 as the owner of the family business, Zenith Hearing Aid Centers. She recently celebrated her 25th year as a member of the International Hearing Society and is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences.

“Had to pay over $7000 upfront on May 15. It is August 20 and has not been reimbursed. They waited for the check to clear to see if UnitedHealthcare is good for it. Trapped. Cannot leave or I have to pay a $750. penalty. According to UnitedHealthcare State of Connecticut retire's liaison, they mangled the paperwork badly causing the delay. Rick Usifer is competent and friendly but Zenith is a zero. Do not recommend. Must be financially precarious to delay repayment and require upfront payment from patients. ”

The Zenith Hearing Aid Centers are family-owned and have been serving the people of the Connecticut shoreline since 1957, with full-time locations in Guilford and New Haven. Both locations are ground level and handicap accessible with free parking.
